This is the Tantric tradition.
This Blogger was given Poorna (tantric) Deeksha in Sreevidya in 1987. Tantric Deeksha is the 5thAshrama or the one above the four fold division referred above. Such people can remain in any one of the four divisions and above. He is competent to initiate all asharamis. But a Sannyasi who is the 4thasharami is not competent to initiate others into Tantra because Tantric Deeksha is above Sannyasa Deeksha. In Kerala who are known as Tantri are not Tantrics. They are just temple priests. They do not require any Deeksha. They have no Deeksha name. It is just a vocation. That may be termed as a shadow of the real Tantra. The Tantra is the first Upasana ( worship) – Chintha (philosophy) – AnushTana - Religious practice - System in the whole world. All systems including the Vedas are the children of the Tantra mother
